Academy information
H.O.P.E. Academy was founded in 1998 by Carlos and Theresa Burdine at The Glorious Church of God in Greenwood, Indiana.
The Glorious Church of God joined with Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse on January 4, 2004. The Academy serves as a ministry of the church, within its Independent, Trinitarian, Pentecostal Holiness identity.
Our mission is to teach children, first of all, to fear God and keep His commandments, growing in the nurture of a Christian atmosphere.
Our purpose is to provide an extension of the Christian home in training young people for time and eternity, in a Christian environment where school staff work closely with parents to train the whole child.
