Message outline
Introduction: Our place in a glorious church Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. His purpose is a glorious church—holy and without blemish. Each believer has a responsibility to help the church become what God intends. Pastor Jon illustrates the danger of spiritual stains through carelessness and spiritual wrinkles through inactivity. We should guard our walk with God and remain active in His work.

We are fellow labourers
Open 1 Thessalonians 3:2- The church has work to do, and every believer has a part.
- Different personalities and abilities should contribute to the same purpose—not leave a few people carrying the whole load.
- Like teammates working toward a shared victory, we should give our best to strengthen the church and further the Lord’s work.
- 02
We are fellow citizens
- Through Christ, we belong to God’s household rather than remaining strangers and outsiders.
- The church is built together upon its spiritual foundation, with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone.
- Our spiritual privileges should be exercised through thanksgiving, worship, and continual prayer. What God has given us does not depend upon worldly power or political leadership.
Scriptures: Ephesians 2:19–22, Psalms 100:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
- 03
We are fellow soldiers
- Christian life involves spiritual battles, not merely occasional participation or outward identification.
- Stand together, uphold God’s standard, and persevere in prayer until the answer comes.
- Pray alongside one another for loved ones bound by sin. As the church approaches Homecoming and Campmeeting, unite in faith for God to save souls and bring victory.

Closing challenge: Protect our unity and do our part
Open Matthew 7:3–5Do not allow criticism, small faults, or personality differences to draw you away from the church. Examine yourself instead of magnifying someone else’s shortcomings.
Love the Lord and His church through your actions—not merely your words. Be a faithful fellow labourer, a thankful fellow citizen, and a steadfast fellow soldier.
